During the students’ five-year school career, the Guidance Department aims to:
- Create in the students an inner drive that they may appreciate the value of self-motivation.
- Promote positive learning skills
- Emphasise the students’ individual strengths.
- Expose students of the senior school to the basic requirements of the world of work.
- Create in all students a strong appreciation for and commitment to their school.
- Create in all students a committed and responsible attitude towards their native land.
- Provide students with a base for recognising an opportunity
- Continue a programme of community involvement to enable students to be more aware of their role as members of their community.
- Work with parents and families offering skills which will enable the home to better cope with the adolescent child.
- Encourage group counselling which enables students and parents to grow and appreciate the value of sharing and the similarities of individual experiences.
