|
This project is a brainchild of the Government of Barbados and came to life through the initiatives of the Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Culture and its Minister, Ms. Mia Amor Mottley in 1997. The programme is an attempt to revamp and reform education in Barbados and it is expected that teaching and learning will be radically and dynamically reformed. The emphasis will be on providing meaningful education for all students in all schools. Training for teachers so far included Basic Computer Skills, Educational Theory and Technology in the Classroom. |
